It embodies the attitude of rock n' roll in a very honest and transparent way.
It's fun, at the same deep and there for you when you need to escape the bullshit in your life, turn it up and tune out the nonsense you've been putting up with, but decide not to as Simon, Martin, Peter & Eric fill your head full of the perfect noise you needed to hear.

If you like 80's hard rock, sometimes you think no one can release a powerful and perfect album like those 80's classic records we all know. But "generation wild" proved again that Crashdïet deserves to grow more and more and deserves all the success in the world. For me they are simply the best! "Generation Wild" is definitely the best album of the year, and probably one of the best in this new decade. Yeah, I know this decade has barely begun, but why not??

This album is really awesome, so far the best album of 2010, and in a couple of years people will see this album as a classic. Generation Wild has everything that The Unattractive Revolution didn't have. The songs are more powerful and most of them are catchier, and the album doesn't only contain songs written by Martin Sweet, (as 90% of the songs from T.U.R did). Most of the music is still written by Martin Sweet though, and most of the lyrics are written by Simon "the new singer" Cruz (as he's been anounced as the singer of Crashdïet for over a year ago I don't count him as that new). But songs as Down With The Dust and Bound to Fall are written by Eric Young and Peter London. Except for bandmembers there's a couple of songs (So Alive, Save Her, Chemical) co-written with Peep-Show singer Johnny Gunn, and his lyrics in Save Her is probably the best lyrics on the album, although the lyrics in Rebel kicks a lot of asses. And the title track "Generation Wild" is a typical hit-song abouth the social torture one has to live with just because you don't fit in with society's thoughts of how a person should be, (kinda like Youth Gone Wild - Skid Row 89'). All the bandmembers co-wrote the title-track with RamPac. The album is similar to Rest in Sleaze and in my eyes this is the true follow-up album. As said in so many reviews before; this is the third album with the third singer, and probably the last chance for the Dïet to make it. And since "T.U.R" was released in autumn 2007, and Generation Wild was released spring 2010 there was 2,5 years between the albums. Expectations were really high and the album was well worth waiting for. Generation Wild shows the many sides of Crashdïet, with songs as Rebel and Native Nature you get to hear the more angry side of the band, they both have a raw and sleazy touch, many people has compared Native Nature with 89'-91' Skid Row, and they're actually quite similar. I'm simply amazed how a band like this can get little recognition here in the states. This band is simply awesome. Very talented in every aspect. Songs like chemical, generation wild, and beatiful...
I'm simply amazed how a band like this can get little recognition here in the states. This band is simply awesome. Very talented in every aspect. Songs like chemical, generation wild, and beatiful pain are just 3 examples of how diverse yet immense this music can be. I hope to God that these guys get over here to NY, but if not, i'll continue to support their music. I just wished the shirts were cheaper in US dollars :( This release rivals the first and honestly surpasses the first. Although only 10 songs, they are all songs that makes you realize this is what rock/glam/sleaze was built on. We need more bands like this, please.

Just one thing I thought when I received it: ...GOD. It got the best frontpage among all the others Crashdiet's albums, the book inside has amazing pictures that just make think about wild boys...

It got the best frontpage among all the others Crashdiet's albums, the book inside has amazing pictures that just make think about wild boys (like those marks on the members' bodys). I loved the picture of Dave under the CD, and the CD itself is as simple in colors as wonderful in music ;) THANK YOU SO MUCH for the stickers, I immediately put the one with the band's name on my electric guitar and the others... well I got no courage to use all of them, like them too much ._. What else can I say? I pre-ordered it, so I got the members' signs and I stare at every single mark of that silver pen everyday XD a kissss
