As soon as the record came, I knew I was in for something special - the yellow colour is awesome and it comes in a protective sleeve which is nice. I found that the gig sound quality is pretty good, I was expecting it to sound like a bootleg recording but it was very clear and listenable. The energy of the show translates well to audio, I found myself lost as if I was there; which is something pretty special, as having got into Crashdiet just 3-4 years ago I never had the chance to see them perform with Dave (RIP). The tracklist is pretty solid, featuring 8 of the best tracks from the debut album along with a Misfits and Guns 'N' Roses cover, which is cool because I feel like if you combined both of those bands you would probably get something similar to Crashdiet. These two tracks really give some insight on what the band was influenced by. As for the performance itself it's pretty solid - this is not the tightest performance you will ever hear, it is instead a crazy rock 'n' roll show full of adrenaline. The band are pretty on point, and Dave's voice sounds great live, you can tell they didn't need to alter his voice much in the studio. Overall I would say that this is definitely worth a buy, and I know I'll listen to it often in the future. If you don't have a turntable set up it's available on CD and digital download too so no one misses out. I hope the boys press more stuff from the vaults!
