For those of us who didn't know about this band when Dave was alive live in sleaze is a gift because it's the closest we're going to get to hearing that era of the band in concert. It's a really good live album with an energetic and raw performance from the band, there's 2 tracks not on rest in sleaze on this: "angelfuck" and a cover of guns n roses " Chinese democracy" which was years before that album actually released. It must've been something really special to witness in concert because this recording alone is exciting. The artwork is great and reading Chris Laney's story about doing this in the liner notes is an added treat. Any Diethead should own this.

An awesome taste of Dave era. It feel powerful, hungry but most of all sleazy! The guys play technically good, hard 'n fast, dragged by Lepard voice. I Kinda miss the live version of Kokk'em Down, but the tracklist is nearly the entire Rest in Sleaze an absolute masterpiece . This cd proves that Crashdïet sounds great even live and deserve big stadium to play.
So, Wanna Riot?
Then you can't go wrong with this.
Really thanks to Peter, Martin, Eric (and Dave) for this hard work, and good luck for your new works with Gabriel!

The truth, it was very special for me, you know, I live very far from Sweden, and when Dave was in the band, I was very young (I am still, I only have 16: p) so I could not see it live, they took it out this album put me in one of his concerts with Dave, when I listen to the album, my head flies and my heart races, (my favorite on the album are "Breakin 'The Chainz" and "Straight Outa Hell"). I also think it is a tribute, it adds a certain sentimentality, the songs are perfect, the voice, the guitar, the bass, the rhythmic drumming, I would have liked the album to be longer. It's a perfect job, with the quality that a record of a great band should have, I loved it, thank you very much for having taken it out. :)

This album, to me, came out unexpectedly...and I am 111% (because 101% isn't even good enough) glad that I had the opportunity to pre-order it, as it is a fantastic album!
