Most of the time those "Tour DVDs" just show a band from it's very best side,contain the most poular songs, are done with a always well dressed and (hyper-)active crowd. The lightning is perfect, so is the sound and the director takes the oh-so rare opportunity to show of how many different camera ankles and lenses he knows.Music DVDs seem to be the perfect thing to watch when you are waiting for your brwoser to load youtube videos which are actually worth your time,(HD Genaration wild anyone?) or to introduce your stubborn friend to your favorite band (which will probably fail). Yeah, Okay I don't like them much, but since I'm a good fan I ordered this. Which turned out to be the right thing to do because this DVD is actually made for fans. The unattractive DVD comes in a normal case, is aswell just a round piece of plastic and the listing on the back looks pretty casual too. Concert Shoot plus some "extra stuff"... nothing new here. But this DVD is everything but what you would expect from your normal supermarket-concert shoot. It's entertaining, it shows the BAND and not some photoshopped image of it. it's funny, but can be disturbing too. it's honest (very honest) and uncensored (which might be due to the fact that nobody looked it over?!?) and it's perfect not only for times of being sick, but also for the next time you need a drunken TV-party or a entertainig alternative for your hollywood movie after a hard day. If you ever wanted to see crashdiet live: here's your opportunity. And if you search for a tool too piss of your grandparents... well, that would probably work as well. As reviewer of a Music Magazine I would maybe give this 1 star for a good band playing great music, one for the bonus material and with good will one for "the hint of bootleg charme".As a Director I'd probably drown myself in then next bathtube facing this, but that's not what I am, I am a fan and I give this all I got. Five stars isn´t enough for this T-shirt. Really good idea to have the bandmembers angryface on it. Just look at Eric, He really looks pure evil at this shirt and backprint ``Rising From the Underground´´ makes it even cooler.

The Rest in Sleaze album means a lot to me, just as it does for many other people and for a whole lotta bands that probably would have been unsigned or rather unknown if it wasn\'t for Rest in Sleaze. This album opened up my eyes for something I thought no longer existed - hardrockers who looks like hardrockers. Back in 1996, one of the most famous rockbands in the world, Kiss, made a reunion tour with all the originalmembers. I was only 3 years old back then, but the reunion of Kiss was considered to be big news worldwide. I quickly became a Kiss fan, they were the ultimate thing for me, they had awesome songs, they looked cool and they had amazing liveshows. Since that day I was always looking for a band as complete as Kiss, but without result. But one day in 2005, I sat in front of the TV just watching some random shit, and suddenly... in the middle of the commercials I heard a loud and clear falsetto scream! I saw some of the coolest guys ever, flying right through a wall! They wore tights, boots, trashed bandshirts and had long n\' teased hair while they walked down the street playing they\'re new single \"Breakin\' the Chainz\". They were Crash Fuckin\' Dïet! Needless to say, I was stunned! This was the greatest thing since I discovered Kiss! And while watching the commercial I couldn\'t stop thinking \"That\'s how I wanna be when I grow up\". When I later bought myself a copy of Rest In Sleaze I was convinced that this was a life-changing record. And from the first second I put it in my stereo I loved it! The songs were just so awesome, not to mention the lyrics were just as awesome aswell! Damn, this album was, is and will always be one of my favorite records. The album is filled with catchy hard rock songs as \"Knokk\' em Down\", \"Riot in Everyone\", \"Queen Obscene\" and \"Breakin\' the Chainz\" aswell as midtempo songs like \"Out of Line\" and \"It\'s a Miracle\". But the best thing with this album is that there\'s not a single weak track on this album.
